Which portal should I use?

Use the new Sofema route for current training and account actions. Use legacy only when you need older records or features that have not moved yet.

Quick answer

Choose the platform before troubleshooting anything else

Most access problems are not true account failures. They start when a learner or manager uses the wrong environment for the record they are trying to reach.

  1. Identify what you need first: active training, account actions, older records, or legacy-only functionality.
  2. Use the new platform for current learning journeys, newer account actions, and the main forward-facing Sofema experience.
  3. Use legacy when you need older records, older certificates, or functions that have not moved yet.
  4. If you are unsure, check whether the issue is really a certificate-history problem or a current-learning problem.
  5. Escalate only after you have confirmed you are in the correct environment.
Tip

Choosing the wrong portal creates fake "login" and "missing course" problems. Route first, then troubleshoot.
